1. Identification of the owner of this website

1.1 This website (bitx.es) is owned and operated by BITX, S.L. ("BITX"), a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of Spain.

2. Regulatory status

2.1 BITX, S.L. is in the process of being entered in the CNMV register of crypto-asset service providers under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA). BITX is an obliged entity for the purposes of Law 10/2010 of 28 April on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing. Information on BITX's regulatory status is kept up to date on this page.

2.2 The service provided by BITX is the exchange of crypto-assets for funds, and of funds for crypto-assets, in which BITX acts as principal. BITX does not provide custody, transfer, payment, advisory or trading-platform services.

3. Purpose of this website

3.1 This website provides general information about BITX and its service and gives access to BITX's onboarding portal, through which prospective Clients may submit the information required to establish a business relationship. No transaction is executed through this website. Transactions are requested and concluded through the channels described in the Terms and Conditions.

3.2 Nothing on this website constitutes investment, legal or tax advice, an offer to the public of crypto-assets or a solicitation addressed to persons in jurisdictions where the provision of BITX's service would require an authorisation that BITX does not hold.

4. Legal documents

4.1 The use of BITX's service is governed by the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Pricing, Costs and Fees Policy, the Complaints-Handling Procedure, the Conflicts of Interest Disclosure and the Risk Warning, all of which are published on this website. The Cookie Policy describes the cookies used by this website. Information on BITX's internal reporting channel is available on this website.

5. Conditions of use of the website

5.1 Access to this website is free of charge and implies acceptance of this Legal Notice. Users undertake to use the website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to its systems or data, or reproduce, distribute or modify its contents without BITX's authorisation.

5.2 The contents of this website, including texts, trade marks, logos, images, designs and software, are owned by BITX or used under licence, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law. Information on prices, services and regulatory status is subject to the documents referred to in section 4 and to the Quotes issued to each Client.

6.1 This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute relating to this website is submitted to the courts of the city of Barcelona, Spain, without prejudice to the mandatory rules and jurisdiction applicable to consumers.
